An evaluation of role of the MS Nurse Specialist

A review and development of the role

South Bank University, London

This two year study is now complete.

The number of MS specialist nurses has grown dramatically over the last few years, but little was known about current working practices and the effectiveness of these posts. The results of this project have contributed to a coherent national framework for the development of more such specialist positions thereby offering more equitable access and better services for people with MS.
