Gliding

Flyability is a project of the British Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association. The organisation aims to involve people with disabilities in all aspects of the sport - gliding, hang gliding and paragliding - and helps people to train as pilots and instructors. It can help with specialist equipment if this is required and helps fund tandem flights for those people who may be unable to fly alone.

Golf

Golf is one of the oldest sports in the world. For many it is as much about improving their personal performance as competing with others. The handicapping system allows people of different abilities to play against each other. Most areas offer courses for new golfers to try out the game and to learn the basics. Most clubs allow players who might have problems walking around the course to use golf carts.
