The MS Trust aims to make its publications as helpful and relevant as we can and the comments of people with MS are essential to our publications.
To help with the production of new titles, we have a panel of volunteers from which we select people to read and comment on the initial drafts or design of items. These comments play a vital role in deciding the final content and direction of the finished item.
Due to the size of the panel, we do not ask everyone to comment on everything. Similarly, panel members are entitled to decline to be involved in a project if the timing of deadlines is inconvenient or if the request for help comes at a bad time.
We provide full information about the item, such as what it intends to cover, the intended audience and where we are in the production process.
Panel members can be as detailed or as general as they like with their comments, covering everything from the language used to the general feel of the publication. All of the comments are considered before the item moves to its next stage of production.
