What's in it for you?
Fundraising is all about people...
It brings people together in a common cause, it's a lot of fun and it brings out all kinds of wonderful creative ideas! If you've just moved house or need a boost for your social life, it's a great way to get to know people. To find out about our exciting fundraising events, such as skydiving or trekking in Peru, visit our events page.
Fundraising at work has similar benefits. It can enhance communication between departments, raise employee motivation, morale and team spirit, and get people talking to each other. This can only be good for business too.
Giving money to charity needn't hurt your bank balance! If you pay tax at 40% and would like to make a donation to the MS Trust, the best way is to use a Payroll Giving scheme. The donation would be deducted from your gross salary so you would pay 40% less income tax - giving £10 would only cost you £6.
