Paris Marathon

Carole after the race

Thank you very much to Carole Frerejacque for completing the Paris Marathon 2010 in support of the MS Trust.

On 11th April 2010 Carole took part in the Paris Marathon, her first event of this distance, in support of her father who was diagnosed with MS 15 years ago. She raised a fantastic £901.20 through her fundraising efforts, organising events in her local community to drum up the funds.

Carole held a 'Jamming for MS' event in the Bull Pub, which is in her local town of Newington. Alongside this she held a raffle, auction, face painting for kids and a cake and plant sale, all of which culminated in a very successful day which raised more than £500. She was also featured in her local paper which gave her event and JustGiving page extra publicity.

Carole, who completed the race in an impressive 4 hours 57 minutes, is already looking forward to her next challenge, once her legs stop hurting that is!
