Street Party during MS Week

Becca Clayton raised £870 at her fabulous Street Party duing MS Week 2007...

"Our fundraising Street Party on Sunday 29th April was an amazing success. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all; it really was FANTASTIC all round!!! We were so lucky with the weather - despite starting at 2pm, we didn't close up until midnight! It was just perfect and the feedback I've had from everyone who came along has been: 'what a perfect day it was' and 'when's the next one?!'

"The music selection; cheese tasting competition; Marble Madness game and the raffle all went down well. The cheeses, pates and wines on offer were delightful, not forgetting the naughty but VERY nice pavlovas & fairy cakes - all homemade and hand delivered by friends, family and neighbours!

"So thanks again also to all our corporate sponsors: Tonic, The Print Centre, John Belfields, The Retreat, The Cheese Shop. Not forgetting our individual supporters, without whose donations, efforts and time we would not have raised a staggering £870 - and that's without the gift aid tax bonus - amazing!" Becca
