Remember A Charity
What is Remember a Charity?
Legacies, or gifts in wills, are vital to the work of the MS Trust.
That's why we're taking part in the Remember a Charity campaign to raise awareness of this important way of supporting our work.
In the biggest combined effort of its kind, over 140 charities are joining forces with Remember a Charity to make people aware that legacy giving is at the very foundation of UK charities. Without people leaving money in their wills, many charities - including the MS Trust - would struggle to exist. 74% of us regularly give to charity in our lifetimes but only 7% per cent of the UK have left a gift to charity in their will.
Every year in September, Remember A Charity and its member charities (including the MS Trust) take part in different activities to help raise awareness of the importance of legacies. During Remember A Charity Week we ask our supporters to give some thought to leaving a gift to the MS Trust in their will. By supporting us in this way you will help make sure we can be there for people affected by MS for many years to come.
