A to Z of MS UKMSSNA (UK MS Specialist Nurse Association)
The UK MS Specialist Nurse Association (UKMSSNA) was launched in November 2001 to act as the professional membership organisation for those working in specialist practice with people with multiple slcerosis.
The objectives of the UKMSSNA are:
- To act as a national resource and network for nurses to share knowledge, expertise and best practice about MS and its management
- To represent UK MS specialist nurses but also to be open to allied professionals working as MS key workers
- To develop materials that will be of value to UK MS specialist nurses in their clinical practice
- To provide a formal link to the international MS organisation
The MS Trust have worked collaboratively with the UKMSSNA on various projects aimed at improving MS specialist services.
